Matthew worked with AT&T from May 2008 to Feb. 2012 as a Business Account Executive and was later promoted to sales manager. Later, he joined T.I.S., Inc. in February 2012, serving as the V.P. of National Sales. Jonathan’s tenure as the V.P. saw him increase sales revenue and efficiently manage a team of 15 account managers. He secured a venture capital offer and led the team to a 41% sales increase in the first year. His realignment of the sales department and development of strategic initiatives were instrumental in achieving company goals. He kept progressing in his career and had the opportunity to serve as the Regional Director of Sales & Operations at A2Z Emissions/A2Z Fire from December 2014 to January 2017.
Matthew also worked as the Fire Service Sales Manager at Johnson Controls Inc. in California, where he managed a team of 12 sales professionals. His role involved selling and renewing Fire Preventative Service Agreements, achieving 102% of the plan for FY19. Jonathan focused on key performance indicators, conducted regular meetings, and provided strategic oversight to ensure team success. He also took on additional responsibilities, such as managing the Northern California team and assisting in hiring efforts.
Outside his professional career, Jonathan has a profound interest in the real estate sector. He actively monitors market trends, particularly in North and South Carolina. Jonathan owns two investment properties and has an excellent understanding of interest rate trends, cost of living, and inflation. His current take on the real estate sector is that while newly built home sales are thriving, the stagnation in existing home sales is helping boost the country’s low housing supply.
Jonathan balances his professional and personal life. He is an accomplished studio drummer in the Los Angeles market, collaborating with musicians and bands across various genres for the past 15 years. Jonathan enjoys snowboarding, scuba diving, and outdoor activities. He loves spending time with his wife and two young daughters.
